Materials - Copies of images and worksheets

Activity - Show students the “animal gallery”. Students create a drawing of a utilitarian object and then write a paragraph about how the object is used and why they selected the animal that is part of it.

Directions - What animals do we have in our environment? What animals do we see? What animals do we live with?Think about the objects that we use everyday. Design a utilitarian object that has an animal as part of it. Draw it on the worksheet or draw it online.

Tell about the animal you selected. What makes this animal special? How is this animal different from other animals? Write a paragraph describing how your object could be used.
