Daily Agenda

  1. Beginning of Class Routine
    1. Place bags, etc. on the table by the window
    2. Turn cell phones off & put them out of sight
    3. No texting, e-mail, surfing, game playing
    4. Only open applications instructed to use in class
  2. End of Class Routine
    1. Close all applications
    2. Log-off computer
    3. Push in chair
    4. Retrieve belongings
    5. Dispose of any trash
  3. Syllabus - This page contains information concerning important information such as grading, materials, and a list of FAQs.
  4. Course Outline - This list the topics covered and the approximate timeframe for each topic.
  5. Class Wiki - This service is on of many excellent ways to enhance the learning experience. Students can collaborate, add files, suggest links, and create documents.
  6. Assignment Calendar - This calendar includes test & assignment due dates. This calendar is available online, by subscription, or by download.
  7. Blogs in Plain English - Blogs are designed for one-to-many communication talking about topics of the author's choice.
  8. Blogger.com Tour
  9. Read the instructions before you sign-up for a free blog using your Trinity e-mail address.

Hands-on Assignments

Assignments may be started in class, but finished and submitted by the due date. No late assignments will be accepted.

Assignment 01: First Blog Entry
Due Date: Friday, August 29th by Midnight
  1. Complete your blog setup and design.
  2. Read Eats, Blogs, and Leaves
  3. Make your first entry - refer to the Self-Assessment Form
  4. Submit the Self-Assessment Form
  5. E-mail TA after the form has been submitted.

Reading Assignments

Students are responsible for outside readings and information from the list below. Be sure to read the material before the next class because you could be quizzed on the material contained in the readings. If a reading is recommended, but not required, it wil be preceded by ***
